Signup improvment for choosing the city

Diring signup it is not very clear for user that he has to enter a city name, trigger a search in geonames and the click on the selected city.

In addition they are people who are also filling the city and click on Submit form button which fails because no city where selected.

They are seevral report of people unable to chose a city they usually say: "Nothing happen after I enter my city". I think the reason for this problem is whhat I described above.

So the to do: Improve this interface for selecting the city by greying or hidding the inactive button. I don't know exactly how to do, but I am pretty sure it can be done. It is a very critical ticket, we are loosing signup (not a lot, but some)
