Description

A user reports to the Support Team the "Additional Information" part of his profile won’t translate to German.

" when I try to edit my profile in a different language (I've written it in two different languages), the additional accommodation information field is the same for all languages. In my case, the German version of my profile has the English additional accommodation information included, and if I try to edit that information, it takes me to the English version of my profile."

Yeah this profile translations does not work very user friendly.

If you click in the sidebar on "Edit my profile" which jumps to http://www.bewelcome.org/editmyprofile/ you end up always in the English edit profile form. To edit the German profile you have to click once again on the "German Profile Translations" link in the upper right corner of your profile. Then the page jumps to the right form which will be http://www.bewelcome.org/editmyprofile/de . To edit your German profile simply click this link. To check that it's working see the field I translated in my profile: http://www.bewelcome.org/members/crumbking/de

@crumbking: I’ve been a bit messy with this because I can’t find the original message of the user. I put him in the cc field of this ticket but Trac won’t allow me to see the full email address… Still trying a way to go through all the messages that I answered in OTRS.

You can click on modify ticket to see the full mail address.

I guess I don't have the appropriate rights because the only option I have is unticking a box for my own email.

To see all your tickets in OTRS go to: Ticket -> Search -> Mark your name in Agent/Owner? -> click search button on the bottom

You can also save search patterns as templates.

Thank you, it worked! Now waiting for his answer to see if there’s indeed a bug or only a “not very user friendly” tool.

I never got any feedback. Not sure it’s solved, but it doesn’t seem to be too common a bug.
