#178 closed new feature (wontfix)

short links from mediawiki to trac

Description

it would be very convenient if we could use short links from mediawiki to trac (similar to the ones to the forum and to the ones available within trac)

it would be nice to have something like:

  • linking to a ticket:
    #144
  • linking to a ticket query:
    [[TicketQuery(status!=assigned|closed&keywords=~hot&order=priority)]]
  • linking to a trac wiki page:
    trac:ReleaseManagement

Yeah, it's pretty easy, there's an interwiki table in the MediaWiki
database. Just add a thing in there, check the existing rows for how
to do it.
I don't have access to that database though, but I guess Tobias can do
it, or maybe even Andreas?

The table looks like this:

  • follow_up set to none
  • freq_reported set to 1
  • show_on_bw set to 0

If I use a Word with a upper Letter in the word like BeWelcome it trys to link to a wiki page. Shouldn't that be only with "trac:BeWelcome"?

  • Resolution set to wontfix
  • Status changed from new to closed

Set to "wontfix" as we are not using the bv wiki anymore.
