#1947 closed bug (fixed)

Signup pages not SSL encrypted

Reported by: sitatara Owned by: dima42
Priority: critical Milestone: 1.7
Component: unknown Keywords: signup, privacy, ssl

From a support ticket: "I appreciate the alternative to Couchsurfing that you provide, including your privacy policies. But that is why I was surprised that your sign-up pages, in which some personal information is provided, are not https secure. My suggestion is that you please add security to your sign-up pages."

I checked if it is actually possible to sign up with https but once you click on "Next step" your are on an unsecured page yet again.
