Description

I just tried the signup (on new www.bewelcome.org). I got a correct e-mail with a confirmation link:

Hello Testus Test Testus !
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of BeWelcome (www.bewelcome.org).
In order to accept you, we need you to confirm your email address. Simply click on the link below.
www.bewelcome.org/bw/main.php?action=confirmsignup&username=testus&key=BC678A8B&id=165236664

Many greetings from the BW team and....
...be welcome!

When I first clicked on the link, it worked. Then I clicked somewhere else on the page. Now, trying the confirmation link again, I get a page with an error message, when I try to get the form again:

"There is no member 2357"

As many people won't instantly fill in all the values in the form (which was too empty according to my remembrance - lacking values from the signup form), I regard this bug as being urgent.

  • Summary changed from Signup cofirmation buggy to Signup confirmation buggy - probblem when clicking the second time on mail to confirm link

I will take care of it
I think this is not a big problem.
This is a bit similar as ticket : #208 (status of members at login)

explanation : the status of teh member is MailToConfirm?, when he click on the link the first time his status is set to Pending so when he click another time the program fail when searching for a member with status MailToConfirm?

Sorry to say but fixing this error is really overdue! Today I wanted to signup a friend of mine, then after clicking the link to the update-form for my profile I clicked on a flag to change the language and BOOM: Can't go back, can't login.

This really shouldn't happen!
