I am starting with the forum notification. I open this ticket to follow problem with forum notification problems if any

I am committing something to test. Notifications will not yet be send, but the subscribe, unsubscribe mecanism is to be test

the most modified area of the forum are :

  • New post,
  • Reply in a thread
  • Edit a thread

there is also a new forum/subscriptions page which summarize the subscription of the current members.

I've tested with WinXP Firefox 2.0.0.12 and MS IE 6.0.2900.2180

Everything semms good so far. Only a detail:

The showed time is "servertime" and not the time in my timezone (maybe confusing for some people - But to solv this we need a (prefered) timezone from the userprofile or something)

When posting in the forum and enabling notification of new posts the own posts are sent to the email address as well - that is annoying (unnecessary)

Notification mails in "text-only"-mode/applications have no line breakes and no links.

Set this back to "review code" as the mentioned problems aren't fixed. So there is nothing to test (on test).

wow, old ticket.

It is already sometime that forum notifications run on live

I am unsure about status of line break
