#495 closed bug (fixed)

Some signup problems

Reported by: jeanyves Owned by: jeanyves
Priority: critical Milestone: Legacy Resolved
Component: BW Profile Keywords: signup

Description (last modified by lemon-head)

They are some minor but consequent bugs in signup :

  • there is no log of error members have to face when they signup (if we have this this could help to see the difficulties people have)
  • there is no log when a signup is successful
  • feedback of member is lost
  • it is possible to signup with and empty birth year

I am going to fix it quite immediately

Two additional requirement :

  • retrieve the previous entered password when an error occurs (because in this case the user always has to re-enter it)
  • if the javascript for selecting the city faile (if there is no $IdCity?, try to retrieve one if there is a unique city for $_POST[CityName?], $_POST[IdCountry?] (this will save user patience)
