  • Milestone changed from Future to 1.0

Can we simply ensure that all link tags in user content uses target blank to force opening in a new tab?

Move to milestone 1.3 if not suitable on 1.0

Really annoying from time to time. But as (all) browsers nowadays support opening link via context menu I close the ticket. (Add welen to keep it in mind.)

forcing new tabs or windows is bad usability. the back button is interface enough for most users. the ones who want new tabs, can ctrl-click or say "open in new tab"

see for details
