Send a notification mail for new posts. More info on ForumImprovements.

The user should be able to subscribe to a tag, a category, or a location and get a the post forwarded to his e-mail. Nicest and most flexible implementation would be through a smart agent where you could specify exactly which posts you are interested in.

  • several subscriptions
  • create subscription by link "subscribe" next to a tag or category
  • create subscription by smart agent (interface to create a query like: all posts with tag "party" in location "spain"
  • only one message should be sent for each post, even in case it matches several subscriptions

I will work on this notification mecanism

with a two option :

  • a notification by tag
  • a notification by thread update

  • freq_reported set to 1
  • show_on_bw set to 0

In the view, where you can see all your subscriptions (in my case  http://www.bewelcome.org/forums/subscribe/thread/108) is the Word "Unsubscribe" not an AdminWord?. -> So everything is translated to german except this Word.

the missing admin word seems to be added and a working version is in production. closing this, please open new ones for bugs / improvements
