Here are described the various possible value for members.Status

• MailToConfirm – the list of members who still have not confirmed their email address. The status changes to pending once they confirm it, so you don’t really have to do anything in this label, maybe just send the reminders to the members who have not confirmed their email address for a long time. In the future we will have to agree on a maximum period that we allow people to stay in here.

• Pending are all the members waiting to get accepted – this is the label you mainly have to work with and check their data.

• DuplicateSigned – here you can see all the inactive profiles of the members who signed up twice or more. It is very important that you click on the email address! This will show you all the statuses that are linked to this email address. Ideally one should have the status 'active' and the other(s) 'duplicate'. This DuplicatedSigned is set when you choose the duplicated option in admin accepter.

• NeedMore are the members who did not provide their full or real data, were asked to fill it in again and did not do that yet (nothing need to be done with the label by now, maybe the old old ones should be rejected though)

• Rejected – rejected for some reasons profiles. Mostly those are just test profiles at the moment. Please do not reject anybody without a valid reason. Somebody with incomplete or illogical data should NOT be rejected, but contacted through the "need more" option

• CompletedPending – after members who have status NeedMore complete their data, they appear under this label and can be accepted, just that I am not sure about that, as the label is always empty – they probably appear under “Pending” right away (which doesn’t make much difference, just the work easier and less confusing for us). JY: I confirm that reight now (Aug 2009) this status is not used.

• Active – all the active members (able to log in and use all the features of BW)

• TakenOut – members taken out on because they asked a volunteer to be removed (for example through a personal mail, or through the feedback/OTRS. If later they want to get back to the club and try signing up again, the TakenOut profile should be reactivated instead.

• Banned – spammers, scammers, abusers who were banned from using BW

• Sleeper - These are members who used to be active, but now no longer reply to mails.

• ChoiceInactive – members who have set their profile to inactive themselves

• OutOfRemind - members who just signed-up but never replied to a request to confirm their mail

• Renamed - Members who had their username changed, not sure though

• ActiveHidden – active members who do not want their profile to be visible for others

• SuspendedBeta – This is just a test status, it will be removed later

• AskToLeave - Members, who asked to delete their profiles through the normal way (using the page retire.php)

• StopBoringMe - This is the Status a member ship takes when a members is required once again to confirm his mail and if choose to click on "StopBoringMe", he will then not be accepted and will not be bored anymore.

• PassedAway – members who have died. JY Auguset 2009: I don't know if this make sense and there is no emergency, but we can imagine that they will be people who will want to have Profile of passed away members still visible and other not. This is not only a technical problem but a big question (remind about Kinga). No emergency anyway, but to keep in mind.

• Buggy – Introduced by JeanYves in 2008 when he detected problems with some members having failing signup. To mark these memebers and to be sure they will not be considered in any list (because they might have orphan records), their status has been forced to Buggy. This is disputable, but at least this avoid the website to break because of Pending or MailToConfirm with inconsistent data.
